Chrome extension
The Mubta extension for Chrome on a computer fills university application forms from your profile, keeps your applications in Mubta up to date and tells you when something changes.
Chrome extension features

Fill new applications
Reads the form on the page, matches fields to your profile and fills only what you approve. Smart filling handles unusual labels.

Sync your applications
From the extension or the right-click menu, it reads your application page and updates its status, number, term and dates in Mubta after you confirm.

Beside the page
Open Mubta in Chrome’s side panel and keep it next to the application form while you fill it in.

Your documents attached
File fields get your CV, transcript or statement from your Mubta profile, picked for you; you confirm each one.

Nothing left behind
After filling, it lists the required fields still empty and shows each on the page. Undo puts everything back.

Gets better with you
It remembers what you chose for each field on a university’s site, and learns from what other students chose.

Knows your universities
A ✓ on the icon when you are on one of your universities’ websites, and an optional notice on the page.

Alerts on your desktop
Mubta notifications as desktop alerts, with a badge until you read them.

Only where it belongs
Filling and syncing work only on your universities' websites, so nothing is filled anywhere else. You cannot use the extension on the website of any university that is not in your applications list on Mubta.
Get started in three steps

Add the extension to Chrome and pin it to the toolbar.

In Mubta, open «Linked browsers», copy the one-time code and paste it in the extension.

Open a university application page and choose «Fill» or «Sync». You review everything first.
Permissions, and why it needs them
Chrome asks you to allow these when you add the extension. Each one is used only for what is listed here.
- Read the page you are on
- Only when you press «Scan», «Sync» or use the right-click menu on that page.
- Storage
- Keeps your account link, settings and your universities’ domains on your browser.
- Tabs
- Compares the tab’s address with your universities’ domains to show the ✓. Addresses are not sent or stored.
- Context menus
- Adds «Sync this application with Mubta» to the right-click menu.
- Alarms and notifications
- Checks for new Mubta notifications every 15 minutes and shows them on your desktop.
- Your universities’ websites (optional)
- Only if you turn on the notice on university websites, and only for those domains.
What it never does
- It never submits a form for you.
- It skips passwords, card numbers, one-time codes and sign-in fields.
- It does not read or keep your browsing history.
- It does not sell or share your information, or show ads.
On a phone, use the Mubta website instead; the extension is for Chrome on a computer.
